1) Better for what usage?
2) Better for whom?
3) This is the Linux Mint forum, we are here because we use Linux Mint, that means most of us prefer it. What kind of answers are you expecting to get?

Which is better? Scotch or Irish whiskey? [Politician] or [Other Politician]? Male or female? Red or blue? There is no definite factual answer to any of them, only opinions.

There are 18,642,719 different Desktop Linux distributions in existence - I admit I may be a little off in my calculations.

If one was "better" than another for every user in every use case there would be only 1.

Pay What You Want: 10 | 20 | 30 ... ...
Definitely Elementary OS: it's not such a stupid free operating system, a real system costs something ... and they also have an AppStore with affordable applications.

What does that remind me of?

You can enter a zero ...
But the first impression is crucial.
I don't enter a zero, and thank you for giving up the experience.

Forget Ford versus Chevy the answer is 42.

Or Toyota. The Hilux are almost as hard to kill as the original Nokia 3310 mobile phones. There's also a saying in Australia, if you want to go into the Bush and come out again drive a Toyota.

Ah yes very nice - hummm New York plate on the front . . . . no rust or pitted chrome .. .. .. ... either that pick-up gets:
1.) garaged in the winter
2.) stays on the farm away from sand and salted NY roads
3.) lives in Dixie (NY plate ? ? ? ?)
4.) just got done a frame off restoration to include re-chromed.
