Linux and palm PDA hotsync

I have a Palm Tungsten E2, PDA and can not find a program to keep it backed-up, Palm only have versions for Windows and MacIntosh, can any body please help me??

That model has a usb interface, and should be designated as such in either of the two Linux applications, listed below..
For Linux..
--palm desktop application + sync
--sync only

Gnome-pilot is installed in the Repositories by default. I have a Tungsten E2 and it works well for me. Forget the Palm PDA Install CD that came with the E2 PDA.

Menu> System> Preferences> PalmOS Devices
