Did fresh (from scratch) install of Mint 20.1 on both my desktop and my laptop computers this weekend and this is the first time that I have installed a version of Linux Mint OS and not had the minor problem of desktop icons "on rare occasions" not being properly setup on the desktop when clicking on add to desktop function from the Linux Mint menu - on previous versions of Mint I would always get one or more icons that would be setup on the desktop with the wrong info on the icon. They would come back with the correct info on them after rebooting or I could just delete the one(s) with the incorrect info and try the add to desktop function again and usually they would add to desktop correctly on the next try.
Hopefully, someone may have finally fixed this gremlin.
Thanks.
Finally no gremlins on desktop icons being added to desktop
