Good morning Linux forum.
Posting this for guitar savvy Linux users:
Now wanting to add software - guitar specific that emulates such programs as:
Amplitube
and
Riffstation or Slow Gold
My searches here have not yielded an area of interest specific to guitar / music.
Thank you all. FerranW

My dear fellow Linux users.
I am reminded once again of how much care and consideration this group offers.
I've remained aloof and independent for too long.
Time to enjoy asking - 77 years of avoidance is leaving with this wee note.
You people are really there for each other ....
... and for me too - obviously
Many heartfelt thanks.

However you didn't mention us ukulele players (older than you) who have moved from their guitars to a smaller more portable instrument.
Even worse, my partner who has started learning the violin....
All is forgiven as there seem to be some interesting links coming up on this thread. Note that Tuxguitar (FREE) is able to run Musescore (pay for) files.

Ha--I had to give it another view on youtube--rather hard to watch without a smile--but nostalgia is as it is.
Another nostalgic song:

I think this is the grass roots of rap music.
If you can listen without smiling you are officially brain dead.
