Maybe you should have made this topic the subject of a poll?

Mint 21 is not working for me because I've been frightened off by all the reports of malfunction not the least of which is problems you may expect if you have Grub Customizer installed. I do, and I installed it before I knew there was a major problem with it.
I'm not in a rush to upgrade yet. I'll wait for the dot releases and see how they review.
20.3 is working just fine and I think I'll stay with it for a while yet

I haven't had any problem with XFCE since I fresh installed the beta version. I don't use many apps that aren't in the install but the few I do run outside of it are all running fine.

I did a fresh install over KDE Neon.

No real complaints although I'd like some transparency in Nemo windows.

Switched Mint Menu for Cinnamenu, moved the Calendar/Clock to the centre of the Panel and customised the Panel to my liking.

Removed Flatpak support. Yeah, I know! :D

I have updated 2 computers from 20.3 to 21, a desktop pc and a laptop. Everything goes well so far. The only thing is that the update process can be slow. Both computers have an SSD (the desktop has the operating system and programs in the SSD, and 2 spinning disks for data storage, and the laptop only an SSD for everything). The update was completed in less than half the time in the laptop compared to the desktop PC. The laptop has a slower CPU but a faster SSD.

Removed Flatpak support.
Did you disable the flathub remote or deeper removal?

I have LM 21.0 on my multi-boot system - it started out with the beta version, and the upgrade went flawlessly. About the only drastic move I made was to remove flatpak support, a move that broke Software Manager. Synaptic still worked fine. I launched mintinstall from a terminal and it threw up flatpak-related errors. So I reinstalled flatpak support and Software Manager worked again.

I had problems with WiFi disconnecting during install and even afterwards. Driver Manager seems to think I need to use rtl8821ce-dkms but looks like the latest kernel has a different rtw88_8821ce driver compiled into it instead. So there appears to be a little bit of a conflict. After doing a BIOS update the disconnects have stopped though so guess I'm just going to ignore Driver Manager instead of blacklisting the built-in kernel driver.

I fresh installed the BETA and participated in the bug hunt. I must have found 13-14 bugs by myself alone. Mostly UI bugs in Cinnamon, nothing too serious. They all got fixed except one in Grouped Window List's Thumbnails feature (which they are still investigating).

It's working great. With the new 5.15 kernel, many issues from the 5.4 kernel are gone. Specifically, I had trouble with freezing after waking up from suspend, and the file system errors very regularly requiring an fsck (like every 1-2 days). Both of these issues are completely gone. The system is super stable with no crashes. Performance and memory usage are also slightly better.

With the Ubuntu 22.04 base I get some newer packages as well, which I had to manually install through other means on Mint 20.3 (like Homebrew, or compiling from source etc.)

I used the upgrade tool. I found it fairly friendly and easy. It did not ask me to make a Timeshift snapshot, possibly because I had a fresh one.
My browser of choice was removed, but I managed to reinstall it quickly, and all settings came right back. Everything else seems to be fine; the screen has more contrast, possibly because of the newer drivers for the graphics, that are included in a newer kernel. All in all, I'm satisfied.

Just upgraded - took some time, but the desktop seems to be more responsive. I did notice at least one game seemed to run slower - black mesa gives me a message stating it is unresponsive - I clicked on wait and walked away, it eventually did startup :/. Not sure if it's the update of Mint or from the game since the game was updated after the Mint upgrade.

Limited amount of use...
Fresh install in Virtual Box, customized, programs added, and removed, custom .iso made.
Custom .iso tested,...working, but not yet installed on "bare metal".
That said no issues found (or expected)...except for one difference, when one pastes something into Terminal the block of pasted "stuff" remains on a white background. No issue, not a bug, just a "difference"

I will eventually get Mint 21 installed somewhere, just making up my mind of which machines to do so...

I have LM21 on a multi-boot system on my desktop pc. My initial impression was positive, but I thought it had glitches (an upper level technical term).

No real problem. I saw today that there were multiple updates. I installed them.

I will keep testing my install of LM21 until I am satisfied. Then, I will remove my daily driver, LM 20.3.

My opinion is that if you have a desktop pc with the space, this is the way to go.

In my case the installer nagged me to do it--so I did a manual
just to shut it up.

Do a fresh install. Mate.
Third day. So far I have not noticed the difference, because just like in 20, phantom icons are duplicated on the desktop, and there are two speakers in the tray :D !

So far rock solid, only one issue which went away quickly. So far best Mint yet.
