I fled from Ubuntu when Unity was introduced. Hated it!
Now ... years later ... they're offering Ubuntu Pro free?
Anyone try it? Is it worth it?

See e.g. this thread: Ubuntu Pro does not work with Linux Mint

Re: Free Ubuntu Pro?
On the contrary: Ubuntu Pro can be applied in Mint. Although I only recommend it for a dead or near-dead Mint which you can't upgrade to a supported Mint (for example because you have 32-bit hardware).cecilieaux wrote: ⤴Sun Feb 05, 2023 3:14 pm I realize it's Ubuntu Pro ***OR*** Linux Mint
But has anyone tried it?

Hi,
I published a better working hack: viewtopic.php?p=2292591#p2292591
