firefox vs Icecat
I know these 2 browsers are identical and are based on each other but which one do you like?

Re: firefox vs Icecat
I have been using Firefox for many years. Even used it during my final years with MS Windows ... XP and Vista.
In my opinion, Firefox 3.0 was better than 3.5 ... and the newer versions FF 3.6 and 3.7- are better still.
I mainly use Firefox still. I even have the Mozilla/Firefox daily-build repositories added to my /source.list so that it it is updated automatically.
I am very happy with what Mozilla has done with Firefox over the years. The newer Firefox 3.6 and higher - is stable, pretty, customizable and very fast.
However, when I am using my Debian 'testing'-Xfce OS -- I use IceWeasel. (Debian does not include Firefox, even in their repros)
I know that IceWeasel/IceCat are clones of Firefox. Or, at least, unbranded browsers based on Firefox.
I am using IceWeasel 3.6 ... and I like it a lot better than Firefox. But, I couldn't give you specifics, as to why. I just do.

Re: firefox vs Icecat
What are the differences between Firefox and it's siblings?
Just branding?

Re: firefox vs Icecat
Checkout the main sites for each:
IceCat >> http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuzilla/
Firefox >> http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html
Make your own comparison. An "informed" choice.

Re: firefox vs Icecat
Thanks folks!
I will give Icecat a try
Opera look very polished and seemed a lot faster than Firefox when I tried it but every time I upgrade I find Firefox just waiting to be used!
