Hey i was wanting to know how people test a build of a operating system.
Do they just use it like they would with a normal OS,
Do they run all programs within the OS,
Do they have certain tasks to try and complete on the test OS like opening a certain filetype with certain software successfully.
Just a bit curious as i noticed the KDE version is getting tested
How does someone test a build ISO?

Re: How does someone test a build ISO?
I believe Clem has a list of tests he performs on every ISO. I'm guessing he same is said for explorer.
I'm guessing the tests will be playing media, web browsing, all the mint tools, mint4win etc.

Yeah, there is a list of specific tests that are run and testing can go beyond these tests as well.
