Post by tatsujin79 »

I just saw this on webupd8

http://www.webupd8.org/2011/03/classic- ... shell.html

in the post there is a video of gnome 3 beta 2 running in no gnome-shell mode. A small glimpse of the future of linux mint

Thanks for posting that link tatsujin. Maybe now most will settle down and not worry about the UI in Katya.

Oh, I'm not worried. I just see comments about how people are leaving "Ubuntu for Mint because of Unity" or about how "Gnome Shell will ruin Linux", etc.

I don't understand it, sounds like people complaining just to complain. If its that big of an issue there is always a multitude of other WM's and DE's out there, then (for the adventurous) there is always something like Arch where you get what YOU want and not what's on the iso already.
