+1 for LUNA, it was after all the only reason I remained with Windows, and I still use XP religiously when called for, I doubt it'll win but they can't claim the rights to just the name, look at Linux XP. Linux is NOT by any means Windows, but idk, it feels like taking the leap and ignoring the 'giant' in every form outside of a linux system, i.e wine is only to provide backwards compatability with that old outdated consumer os...., would help show the our commitment to the future of FOSS. Edit: I guess this was a big fantasy, considering what happened with Lindows. I'll never take that approach again Lol. But, it is a totally different situation, still, not worth chancing.

Since this next version might become very confusing due to the unity or gnome 3 thing if it goes that way or not, I've been trying to think of a confusing woman's name.
The only one I could come up with was Lucy for Lucielle Ball, that zanny redhead.
Hoping it will be great and fantastic as usual but with whats going on upstream it just might become confusing as heck as to which way if any to go.

I am a fan of the Lyra suggestion. Other than being an awesome constellation in the sky, It is also a name of a background pony in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and is ironically mint in color. It seems like a match made in heaven in my eyes. Linux could benefit from all the friendship, love, and tolerance this brings to the community. Other than that I think Lyra is a beautiful name. Its got nerdy origins and most linux users are a bit nerdy. And If I am not mistaken, It is an instrument that I am sure makes a beautiful sound.
