It's a girl's name which in Hawaiian means "Heavenly Sea." I really like it.

It is ever nicer to hear it appropriately pronounced.

Just saw the Lunar eclipse and remember that "Luna" is the latin name for the moon.

Just a word of caution on this one. Luna is a good name, but remember, the original Windows XP theme is called Luna.

By the way, Italian is derived from Latin. You could say that Latin was the Italian of many centuries ago.
It's not very surprising that Luna is Spanish too.
