Not convinced by rolling releases

Mark Shuttleworth chimes in on the issue. And reading his blog I find I gave him a disservice in condemning him outright coming back to Ubuntu and hating Unity and direction Ubuntu is taking. And found Mint to be to more my needs for the future.

But true be told his vision and direction isn't my idea and that's ok.
From his perspective he is doing right trying to balance it all and achieve his vision as he has invested much monies & time to achieve that. And I give him kudos for that.

Thing is though through the much ballyhooed official proposal, no one is suggesting that LTS should die so where's the fuss I wonder??? As long as there's LTS, frankly imho a rolling release solves the "why we can haz 1000 bugs interim everytime!!!" complain once and for all?
