First time I seen a Linux box sold as a gaming rig.
And confused tho Steam for linux and native games list are improving.
I would think not anywhere the numbers needed to justify a gaming rig?
Add the high price of $600 would seem destined to fail?
But hey what do I know.

Yes and yes. This is more like Alienware (or is it Dell?) throwing things at the wall and wanting to see what sticks.Orbmiser wrote: Add the high price of $600 would seem destined to fail?

Although I'm not a gamer, I know a few folks who are. An entry-level gaming rig at $600 is reasonable because depending on the specs, you can easily double or triple the price.
