[SOLVED] Restore Nemo 1.7.6 Menubar on Ubuntu 13.04

I accidentally unchecked the 'Show Menubar' option in Nemo. How do I bring it back? I tried reinstalling nemo and purging nemo's settings using apt-get and aptitude but it's still the same.

Which version of Nemo are you running, because the Cinnamon 1.6 one certainly doesn't have that feature. I'm running Nemo 1.1.2, check with:

nemo --version

All I can uncheck is "Main Toolbar" in the View menu. But that only hides the main toolbar, not the menubar. You can display the main toolbar again from the View menu. But I think you no longer have the menu?

same thing happen with me with other s/w.
1) I login other a/c and open the s/w more than one.
2) with out close the s/w, logoff and login my previous a/c.
3) then open the s/w more then one.
the problem was solved.

After reading your post, I did the same thing, then didn't know how to restore it. Stupid me
Then I pressed Alt + M and... Woohoo! Menu is back!
