Gnome or KDE? and WHY?

well if it does, you can count me in as a convert! even gnome can be a bit sluggish these days (compared to, like fluxbox, lol)

Linux Mint made me like Gnome for the very first time.

On my FreeBSD box, I prefer KDE.
