so my Laptop crashed, with an error on the video output,
and eventually stopped any video output at all.
this is the one that had a HDD fail, the other year,
& I'd rebuilt it, with a new & Bigger HDD.
so, Me being Me, turned it into a multi boot machine.
thus, it was something of an disappoint, when the video failed,
& it was determined to to not worth the $$$, Time, Effort to pull it apart to fix.
anyways, I've a MintBox Mk1, that hasn't been able to boot it's internal HDD,
for some time now.
so then, with an ext USB caddy via eBay, it's HDD was tested in that MintBox Mk1,
& me, when it booted - - there's My Old PC back again
it's always amazing, just what resetting the BIOS back to it's defaults, can achieve.
it's a Nice Bonus for my Easter Weekend - another working gadget to play with.
- my orginal LinuxMint Machine - - in a new case !.
