So I have a netbook (ASUS 1015E) with 64 bit KDE Mint on it with no cd/dvd drive.
I've been picking up second-hand dvds and I used to use k3b to create an iso from them and play the iso. This usually works except when some manufacturer scrambles the TOC. Recently I tried out handbrake and ripped ti dvd using that. It created a 1 gb file (instead of 8gb) and I couldn't tell the difference in video or sound quality at all. Better yet, i could watch the movie;)
