One of those things i've never got around to trying and there now seems to be loads of them. :shock:

I wondered which one is best as i seem to be going around in circles at Google.

i use both verisign dns and quad9 dns
verisgn dns is 64.6.64.6 for the primary and 64.6.65.6 for the secondary
quad 9 is very new and its dns server is owned by IBM its primary dns is 9.9.9.9 they do not have a secondary so i just use one of the verisign ones as a secondary...just put the numbers in your router and your good to go...DAMIEN

i use two of them and switch from time to time both have ipv6 capability if you need it.
https://welcome.opendns.com/
208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220 <<<openDNS
2620:0:ccc::2, 2620:0:ccd::2 <<<openDNS ipv6

https://dns.watch/index
84.200.69.80, 84.200.70.40 <<< dns.watch
2001:1608:10:25::1c04:b12f, 2001:1608:10:25::9249:d69b <<< dns.watch ipv6

openDNS is good speed BUT is log your dns requests. (you can make opendns account and then delete your logs)
dns.watch does NOT log anything but is slower. i use dns.watch since i like privacy tools

Even though it's ranked as the fastest i see people dislike Google DNS...

Constantly followed about with targeted advertising. :P
