Apparently by Firefox 60 GTK2 support will be fully dropped in favour of GTK3 so i'm sure that will annoy some of the light weight Ditro's that still rely on GTK2The two highlights from today's release are an optional Tracking Protection feature and new multithreading in the page rendering.

Re: Firefox 58 released
Also, if you read the "what's new?", you'll see that profiles from 58 on will no longer be backward compatible with older versions. I suggest that before updating to ff 58, you save a copy of your profile and append it with .ff57 or something like that. That way in the future, should you want to start using ESR firefox, you'll have a compatible profile.

That's somewhat interesting. Also I'm wondering why there is a picture of a Red Panda.

Dropping GTK2 support quicker than i thought.Besides Firefox 59 being the release doing away with GTK2 support, this next Mozilla web-browser release might be the one to achieve working native Wayland support.
