I've been using Linux since back in 2009 when I first loaded Ubuntu 9.04 because of security issues with Windows XP. I switched to Mint when Ubuntu went to the Metro desktop and and have tried Ubuntu Mate but didn't really like that either so it was back to Mint.
Ennywho, I've had my hands on 5 different desktop computers in the past couple of weeks that are running either Linux Mint 17.2 or 17.3 and decided to do both the upgrade from 17.2 to 17.3 on those that needed it and also the kernel upgrade to 4.4.0-111, which all of them got. I'm pleased to report that all 5 of these systems did those upgrades without a single hitch, which is outstanding!!!
So, my hats off to the Linux Mint developers for putting out a Linux version that is this easy to use and upgrade!!
