[solved] Pi networking doesn't work

Post by deepakdeshp »

The network has stopped working on my raspberry pi.

Code: Select all

ping localhost
doesn't work too.

Code: Select all

ifconfig

doesn't report interfaces.I am inclined to think that it is a hardware problem. Please suggest.
My system is raspbian Pi 1 version A

Ok, but that has what to do with Linux Mint?

The os is based on Debian, and the same principles hold as in Mint. Though not Mint, somebody may have a clue

I requested your post be moved. The main forums aren't appropriate places for questions relating to other OSen.

The problem was upgrade command changed the kernel which did not support the hardware
