For those who want to customise

Post by lsemmens » Fri Jul 13, 2018 1:57 am

Came across this on Tech Republic, might be useful to those who need to re-create their custom install on other machines. (I HAVE NOT tried this so Caveat Emptor!)

How to create a custom Ubuntu ISO with Cubic
Kernel: 4.15.0-24-generic x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: Cinnamon 3.8.7
Distro: Linux Mint 19 Tara

Laptop T4500 Dualcore 4Gb RAM
Server AMD Phenom 9650 - GEForce 9400GT 6Gb RAM
Out of my mind - please leave a message

Great, thanks. Found link explaining how to use cubic for ubuntu 18.04 and linux mint 19.0. I should do this myself, though I love fresh installs from repository.. it's like a bath for my pc. https://www.linuxuprising.com/2018/07/h ... t.html?m=1
