can anyone tell me why,when either of these distros are put into suspend mode they start searching for something ie a file and i have to unplug laptop to use it again.any info on this would be great.i also have linux mint 18.3 installed but have never been able to connect to internet BCM WIFI bullshi..... thanks in advance

With all due respect, and noting you did choose a non-support forum, why are you asking on a Mint forum and not on a zorin or sabayon forum?
