Linux 19.1

Post by sanjitgupta1996 »

I have acer e5-575 with 8gb(DDR4) and intel hd graphics 620(i5-7200u 2.5 GHz with turbo boost up to 3.1GHz-not yet understood the use in linux)
So can the software be added which was given in the CD in .exe format (Driver manger is blank always)
4k worked properly with the device in linux 19 it is not in 19.1
Gestures can be solved too with arrow keys rhythmbox starts
And in Microsoft word Excel PowerPoint are changing when we start in libre can it be aligned properly

What software are you trying to install? Is this a dual boot?

Programs written for Windows, .exe f'rinstance, will not run in Linux. Excel and Powerpoint are also Windows programs so will not run in Linux. The equivalent to Excel is LibreOffice Calc and the equivalent to Powerpoint is LibreOffice Impress. They are largely a drop in replacement for the M$ product.
