My bet would be more on: the Devuan website has be pwned. Hacked, defaced, taken over.
Unlikely the Devuan makers would render their own website useless just to crack an April Fool's Day joke.

Just great, I clicked on the link. I thought it had something to do with the current "green movement." :?
I hope there's nothing malicious being downloaded in the background. I think the link should be removed.

Highly doubt it. I'm not seeing any increase in inbound traffic.

I'll edit my original post to avoid confusion.

Discussion on their mailinglist seems to show they have lost control of their infra. Their website and git repo at least. That or it's a joke taken too far.

So I was wrong and they really did do so?
Maybe this is the only way for Devuan to get some public attention, even if it should be only for a fool's day.

When I read they lost control of their server and can't regain, I think: "what an idiots?" When I read it was a joke I think: "I was right".
