Has anyone tried out the Distro Feren

I'm running it on my Virtual machine and it runs very well. It also runs well off a USB drive.

I am running Feren OS 04_2019 on a Dell Laptop and dual boot with Mint 19.1 on a Dell desktop.
There are things I like and things I don't, compared to LinuxMint.
I do not have Feren completely configured to my liking, yet. So Mint will remain my "Production" OS for now.
Faren does feel a little quicker than Mint 19.1. That is a subjective comment as of now. No hard data to confirm it.

I might as well try this distro just to see if it's having the same issues when it comes to screen casting apps,
which is still not resolved in Mint's latest version.

My gaming laptop is setup with Linux 19.1 MATE and dual boot Feren (Newest release). I can't really see a lot of difference in speed. I do like Feren but I don't see where it's any better than 19.1 :?:

Feren is based on Mint 19 and uses Cinnamon. I fail to see how this would fix problems with an existing Mint install.

This is what I was testing. I read an article that said Feren fixes all the problems with Mint 19.1 :?: :?: :?:

I tried Feren just a while ago just to see if this screen casting issue with Mint exist.
The live distro answered what I needed to find. Now I now it's a Mint issue.
I'll be replacing Mint for the time being until the issue disappears.

Interesting  I really do like Feren but I just don't see a lot of difference with it. Both Mint and it runs fine on my Asus gaming laptop

The source of all this seems to be a reviewer on Linux insider. I've seen a few reviews from him with the basic gist that Cinnamon on Feren is easier to use and even faster than Mint... which confuses me also as AFAIK Feren is based directly on the Ubuntu/Cinnamon base of Mint and they're not doing any coding work on Cinnamon.
