Bodhi Linux 5.1 has been released: the smartest lightweight

Post by Pjotr »

A couple of days ago, Bodhi Linux 5.1 has been released: the smartest lightweight Ubuntu 18.04 derivative. Greatly improved compared to its predecessor 5.0.

"Mean and lean" to the extreme, and with four intelligently tailored editions so that Bodhi 5.1 can be installed on almost every computer in existence. Information, screenshots and how-to's:

Have fun! :)

As of today, gm10's mintupdate is in the "Main" repo for Bodhi Linux 5.1 and no longer in its "Testing" repo. That makes it even easier to install it.

For all of you feeling adventurous, I can attest that Moksha desktop is usable on top of Mint:

The only caveat for me was Caja occasionally stealing the desktop if I forgot myself and used it.
