Re: Have you installed wine?
Yeah since I play a lot of Windows-only games. I exclusively use PlayOnLinux/SteamPlay nowadays, though.

Re: Have you installed wine?
No Wine here.
I occasionally use Win10 for gaming, i dual boot on my iMac. MacOs/Win10.
MacOs for everyday use and programming or making music.
Win10 for gaming only and internet is disabled on Win10.
I'm still new to Linux. This laptop is Linux only.

I have installed Wine. But I do not have Wine installed.

Re: Have you installed wine?
When I first switched over, I thought I was going to need it. I had heard so much stuff about "oh, there's no support for anything on Linux". When I actually made the switch, though, I realized that basically everything I used on Windows either had support on Linux, or had an alternative that was just as good.
How to make funny and interesting signature?

Re: Have you installed wine?
This was my experience as well. My partner who introduced me to Linux had worked with Ubuntu some years ago and didn't know much about other distributions. What he essentially told me was that "you have to do most of the things Windows does for you". As you can imagine I was not too keen on making the switch at first when he was putting it like that.sushiinyourface wrote: ⤴Thu Mar 25, 2021 2:30 pm When I first switched over, I thought I was going to need it. (To answer the topic question, yes, I have installed Wine. But I have yet to actually need it for anything.)
