Linux Mint base Ubuntu 21.04 bests Arch Linux for perrformance

Ubuntu was used as the default test platform as usual given its popularity and arguably the most relevant Linux distribution to use given that it's the most common Linux distribution at the moment for preloads on laptops by multiple vendors. In any case, as usual many users were quick to say "but Arch Linux!" as if it was going to make a dramatic difference in my findings. Well, here are some Ubuntu 21.04 versus Arch Linux benchmarks on that AMD Advantage laptop.

That doesn't exist. Linux Mint 20.x are based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.

Which will likely perform worse, if they even boot, on the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX Zen 3 processor with Radeon RX 6800M graphics using laptop that the link is about. And as per the link the laptop is junk with any OS using a kernel before 5.13; any key press will trigger a shutdown and the wifi won't work.

Anyway, Linux Mint won't work on this laptop: the 20.2 Edge ISO has kernel 5.11. So the first time you press a key after booting will shutdown the laptop.

I've heard that LM 31.2 has now (will eventually go on to) crushed all the other distros performance-wise, including Arch.
