Hello everyone

Postby Chrisoldinho » Mon Jun 14, 2010 6:04 am

Hi i'm new to the forums and linux mint. I briefly trialled an earlier version (7 i think) and have toyed with Ubuntu and YDL on the PS3, but have always ended up using Windows again for compatibility and because SWMBO uses the same laptop.

I finally decided to take the full plunge into the world of linux after getting another virus on my windows 7 install (despite having av software) and mint seemed like the logical choice for me.

I can honestly say i'm loving it, and the developers have done a fantastic job at building a custom derivative of ubuntu 10.04.

to show my support i have donated $10, i would have donated more but this is all i can afford right now.

Anyway, keep up the great work - you've definitely got a new long term user here :D
