Find out what distribution suits your needs :) Only to sad Mint is not included, but somehow both Freespire and Linspire is included? Anyway, I got OpenSuSE, Mandriva, Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora (Strangely, the only one I have not tried of those is Debian..).

Well I have to question the validity of that exercise. They pulled Fedora first for me, which is the distro most likely never to see a hard drive near me. Mandriva, Ubuntu, Opensuse and Debian are all safe choices. Mandriva 2008 is very impressive, they seem to have turned a corner over there. One of only a small handfull of distros to boot on my geforce 7050 board, even Mint has to boot in safe graphics mode but installs perfect.

I find Mint similar to OpenSuSE GNOME, at some points (mintMenu and Control Center). Mint has just improved at some point, but still there are areas where I find OpenSuSE better.. :) But OpenSuSE lacks support for laptop LCD panels, so none of my laptops are able to adjust the brightness running OpenSuSE..
