Excusez-moi de poster mon problème à la suite, je suis un peu perdue.
Je suis rarement passée ici, je n'ai pas souvenir que c'était un forum anglophone lors de mon inscription il y a un bout de temps, et je suis nulle en anglais
Mes recherche Google m'ont amenée sur ce topic, suite au même genre de problème.
J'ai voulu installer Linux Mint sur le portable de ma maman car son Windows rame énormément.
J'ai eu bien du mal à faire fonctionner le wifi sur son vieux laptop, un Dell-Latitude-XT, j'ai du installer le firmware-b43-installer.
Pour le deuxième problème, j'arpente les forums depuis 2 jours en vain.
Ce fameux message "Cinnamon vient de planter" est arrivé me semble-t-il, après avoir lancé les mises à jour..
Il me semble qu'après l'installation ça fonctionnait mais je n'en suis même pas sûre.
J'ai essayé plusieurs trucs mais ça ne veut pas (nouvel utilisateur, réinitialisation de Cinnamon, ...).
C'est une installation fraîche en dual-boot, je n'ai rien touché, rien paramétré, sauf le wifi.
J'espère que Laurent85 passera par là, j'ai effectué toutes les commandes qu'il avait demandées
