Salve non riesco a caricare i driver nel portatile dmr..installo cps e codeplug..ma non si caricano i driver ..quindi in fase di lettura radio non posso fare nessun aggiornamento al codeplug
ho provato con wine senza risultato..pc in uso..DELL OPTIPLEX 755

which model Handheld radio are you using?.
what have you done so far, in regards to installing those drivers?.

salve il modello del portatile è RETEVIS RT3 DMR..l unica cosa che ho fatto è stato di cercare di installare il software con wine che penso sia il programma giusto

well - - I've no issues in installing the software with ./wine,
and it is similar to the Chirp software that is used for similar type programming of H/Hs.
but there would still be two issues:
- getting the serial port to work in ./wine
- getting a prolific chip to work with the serial cable - - if this is a usb / serial converter cable.
this type of situation, is one, where a dedicated windows machine would work better,
as I've been down this road myself with the BaoFeng H/Hs that I've got.
ie: whilst the software works ok, the driver issue was insurmountable,
and a dedicated win-xp machine was the end result - - it was patchy, at best with win-7.
but, I've been recently advised that the Chirp software & the prolific chip will work, on win-10.
and it is similar to the Chirp software that is used for similar type programming of H/Hs.

ok grazie...infatti il sotware con wine lo installo senza problemi..i problemi li ho con i driver..continuero ad usare window per caricare il sofware dove non ci sono problemi e le modifiche le farò con l MD380TOOLS sviluppato da un radioamatore americano in linux..volevo abbandonare definitivamente window dopo aver iniziato a conoscere questo sistema ma purtroppo ci sono ancora dei vincoli con window 7 per alcuni programmi ...grazie lo stesso alla prossima
