[RISOLTO] wifi non si accende

Buona sera,
sono un novellino di mint che ho provato ad installare su un vecchio portatile.
Il problema sta nel fatto che se provo ad accendere il wifi si spegne automaticamente, ho provato ad aggiornare i driver manualmente e a tentare alcune soluzioni trovate in rete, ma senza successo.
Confido nel fatto che qualcuno esperto mi possa aiutare.

Hai installato mint su un portatile su cui c'era già linux o su cui c'era una vecchia versione di windows?
Cosa c'era sopra prima?

Hai provato installando direttamente mint o stai provando da una distro live?
Hai provato con una versione più vecchia di mint?

L'ho installato su un portatile su cui era installato Windows, la versione che ho scelto era quella quella più recente (un paio di mesi fa).
Ho letto di altre persone che hanno avuto problemi analoghi, ma le soluzioni che hanno trovato con il mio portatile non hanno funzionato.

Comando «mokutil» non trovato, ma può essere installato con:

Sembra tutto a posto, ma la scheda di rete wi-fi è spenta.
Se il pulsante wi-fi del pc e su ON, non saprei che altro dirti.
