Windows kent (kende?) de mogelijkheid een autoxec.bat te maken. In dat bestand werd vastgelegd met welke aktie Windows automatisch moest starten. Kent Linux die mogelijkheid ook, bijvoorbeeld door automatisch Firefox te starten?

Als je bij het opstarten van de computer bedoeld, kun je dat gewoon instellen onder Menu=> instellingen => sessie en opstart
