Cuando la notebook se aleja del modem o el router la conexion se cierra porque disminuye la intensidad de la señal.
la configuracion de las preferencias son Automatico (DHCP)
Uso este sistema operativo en mi PC de escritorio sin ninguna dificultad.
Este mismo equipo tiene Windows 10 y no tiene problemas con la conexión.
Hay alguna solución o debo cambiar de distro?

Deberías esperar la participación de los que si entienden de estas cosas que posiblemente necesiten mas información , como el contenido del archivo de texto (whireless-info) que se genera en tu directorio de usuario al introducir el siguiente código en una terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T).

Asegúrate de estar conectado a la red por otros medios (cable) cuando lo hagas, edita el archivo y copia su contenido aquí usando la opción Code como se indica en este post.

Parece ser que las tarjetitas estas vienen con dos antenas mientras que los laptops de HP solo tienen una (y mal posicionada) . Por lo que puedo entender se trata de un problema con los controladores que está pendiente de solución, pero en tu caso, con el kernel 4.10 podrías tratar de cambiar la antena a ver que pasa (no es infrecuente que el bluetooth deje de funcionar al cambiar de antena).

Puedes probar
  • 1)Editando el contenido de /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf (si no existe créalo) con
    • Code: Select all

      gksudo xed /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf
      comprueba los siguiente parámetros

      options rtl8723be fwlps=0
      options rtl8723be ant_sel=2
    si no existen añáde las dos lineas (copia y pega) y guarda el archivo.

    2)Prueba la nueva configuración reiniciando y/o asegurate que se recarga el módulo con

      modprobe -r rtl8723be
      modprobe -v rtl8723be
Puedes ver la intensidad de la señal con dicha seleccion de antena, si es menor que la que tenías cambia la antena (volviendo al punto 1) con options rtl8723be ant_sel=1 y recargando el módulo (2). Suerte. :wink:

Perdón faltaba un trozo de código, precisamente el que ejecuta ese script y genera el archivo wireles-info.txt cuyo contenido es el que tienes que devolver. Mea culpa :oops:

SOLUCIONADO.
Gracias a Jopeta inefable colaborador. La solucion estuvo cuando cambie a la antena 1.
Los porcentajes de conectividad cambiaron de una 24% a 100%.
Todo muy simple gracias a tu sabiduría.
