Is there a way to show the running indicator of apps on all workspaces?

Post by logicalsong »

In my first workspace I have some apps open:

If I switch to the 2nd workspace, none of the running apps have the running indicator:

So if I click on Spotify, for example, Mint will try to open another instance of Spotify and fails:

How can I prevent this from happening, and instead

1) When I click on an app that has a running instance/window, switch to the workspace that contains that running instance/window?
2) Show the running indicator on all workspaces?

Thanks in advance.

This is nice to know! Where do we find this option? Which desktop?
