[Solved] Package List download error

Updating the package list results in errors. See the attached pdf-file.
The comment says that the network could be at fault, but my network is running fine; otherwise I could not send this.
I have also tried three different mirrors, one in Canada, two in Germany. No change same problem.
I would appreciate help.

Run the following commands in a terminal (copy and paste):

sudo dpkg --configure -a

sudo apt-get -f install

sudo apt-get --fix-missing install

sudo apt-get update
Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon - 64bit

Thanks for your help.
I executed the command and still received comments that package files failed to download.
See the attached PDF File.

I have the same problem, running Mint 12.
The Update Manager icon keeps changing from a green tick to a red cross, and Update Manager shows these errors:

ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR###ERROR
W:Failed to fetch http://packages.medibuntu.org/dists/one ... slation-en Unable to connect to packages.medibuntu.org:http:
, W:Failed to fetch http://packages.medibuntu.org/dists/one ... slation-en Unable to connect to packages.medibuntu.org:http:
, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I've run the commands shown above, and the last few lines of sudo apt-get update are:

Err http://packages.medibuntu.org oneiric/free Translation-en_GB
Unable to connect to packages.medibuntu.org:http:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list shows:

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ lisa main upstream import
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-security main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ oneiric partner
deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ oneiric free non-free

Is this something I should try to correct, and if so, how?
EDIT: Could it be a problem with the Medibuntu site?

@Clawinus
It looks like some of your sources.list entries are "personal package archives" and may no longer be relevant. Open your "sources.list" in edit mode and place a # in front of the relevant lines that produce error messages to see if the error messages recur. After editing your sources.list run "sudo apt-get update".

Also, here is my sources.list which gives no errors for comparison:

deb http://mirror.optus.net/linuxmint/packages/ lisa main upstream import romeo
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-security main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ oneiric partner
deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ oneiric free non-free
deb http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu oneiric main

Please, where do I find the "sources.list" and how do I open it in edit mode?

Code: Select all

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
If you make any changes, save before exit.
