My Linux menu won't load =(

Post by exquomma »

For some reason, my Linux Mint Menu just stopped being able to load. The last thing I did was install Microsoft fonts - could this have affected my menu? I have tried reinstalling mintMenu with the Synaptic Package Manager, but it still does not make the menu work again. Help?

The standard thing to begin with for menu errors is (in order)
right click and reload plugins
right click > Remove from panel and then right click > Add to panel

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

That is so simple that it already occurred even to a novice like me. Unfortunately it doesn't work.
