[Solved] Truecrypt Privileges

Post by OhioYJ » Sun Jul 01, 2012 3:20 pm

So I'm new to Mint, but not new to Linux. I use Truecrypt on several of my data drives. To make it so I, as a normal user, can access, modify, etc TrueCrypt drives, I typically run:

visudo

Then add (under User privilege specification):

OhioYJ ALL=NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/truecrypt

However this does not seem to work for me in Mint, ideas?

haha, so noob mistake on my part. After modding the sudoers file, a reboot fixed everything. So now I can modify the drives once mounted without issue.

1st rule of computers, if it doesn't work, reboot.
