how do i make a picture cd?
i want to put my picture files on backup cds..... please someone help me???? im running linuxmint 13 maya kde.... dont know to how to do this - are you supposed to use k3b program oh i dunno!

1. Insert CD into optical drive.
2. Launch k3b (you mentioned it in your post so I'm assuming you have it installed).
3. In k3b, File -> New Project -> New Data Project
4. Using k3b's file browser, drag your picture files into the k3b pane.
5. Set your parameters for burning and start the CD buring process.

Extension to longer answer:
If you want your 'picture CD' to show up like the Kodak CDs from your developer, use .jpeg format for the photographs copied to the CD. Or at least the CDs which I have received were created with .jpeg pictures.
