How to connect to internet through network

Post by Guillem »

I have installed Maya on my Benq Joybook Lite U101W. How do I connect to the internet through a network? The network is based on a computer running Windows 7. The Joybook connected successfully before I installed Maya. Then it was running Windows Xp.
I did a clean install. That is, I chose to install Maya to the full capacity of the hard drive on the Joybook.

Are you trying to share the Windows computer's internet connection with your Joybook?

Try this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... f091711095 (the answer there)

Are you trying to share over wireless or Ethernet?

I've tried both and neither works. I'd prefer wireless.

I'm guessing you've already covered all the points contained in http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... on-Sharing, particularly the points covered in the final heading.
