To see if it's installed - Open a terminal and type:

gnome-app-install

To install - Open a terminal and type:

sudo apt-get install gnome-app-install -y

That should do it!

Have you tried pressing Alt+F1 to see if the Gnome menu appears?

i hav lost add/remove applications ..?how to install
