Samba and it's security

Postby junior-s » Thu Jan 31, 2013 1:51 pm

Is there any security issues with samba for a normal user? I use only official repositories and only install official software.

EDIT: Can I just unninstall it by the Software Manager? I saw some people saying commands on /etc/, but if the SM will remove it completelly then it's ok.
