what is ~/.config/chromium doing there?

Postby ffunenga » Sun Feb 10, 2013 1:47 pm

I'm "trying" to clean the hidden files in my home folder and i've found this:

Code: Select all

ffunenga@asus:~$ ls .config/
autostart  chromium  deskbar-applet  geany  mate          menus  totem           user-dirs.dirs
caja       dconf     enchant         htop   mate-session  pluma  Trolltech.conf  user-dirs.locale

can I remove ~/.config/chromium ?

Note: I've just installed mint 13

Yes, you can remove that if you want. It is added to each new account as it is being created from the /etc/skel directory, with default configuration files for new users. If you don't use Chromium or Chrome, you won't miss it.
