How do I fix:

E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_quantal_main_i18n_Translation-en
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Is this a local problem or something wrong with the update package?

Linux Mint 15 will have a button you can press in the software sources to fix these kind of errors :wink:
