Chart comparing the different desktops
Is there a chart out there somewhere comparing the different desktops that are available for mint?

What would you want them compared on? Generally I pick the one whose looks I like, and which allows me to work as I want.
You can find a lot of info through Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:F ... vironments. Or read a review comparing the various environments. Like these two:

There's a big review site, with a short summary for each DE also comparing RAM and CPU usage: http://www.renewablepcs.com/about-linux ... me-or-xfce. Note that for Cinnamon they have included results based on an old version of Cinnamon, for which it was known it had a high CPU usage--that has been improved upon with each new version of Cinnamon and is no longer an issue.
There's also various video reviews you could watch. Arash has one comparing a few: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID24jbKCZ5A
Generally, if you have the option and not yet a preference, I'd try them each to get some experience and find out what works for you and what doesn't.
