mPLayer Hack

Postby RogerRabit222 » Thu Jun 19, 2008 8:19 pm

Often I like to watch movies at on windows. The problem is a lot of their movies are hosted on Veoh, which requires the 'VeohTV' plug in to watch. I cant find any kind of veohTV plug in for ubuntu. Anyone know some kind of way to hack mplayer to play veoh or something? I've been working this problem over for a while now, but I just cant figure it out... Veoh has the good quality ones too

I Hate having to reboot into windows everytime I want to watch a movie...

Thanks alot!

I like since their videos play flawlessly with a default Mint 5 install. Granted, the selection is quite small, but everything works with no adjustments necessary. This could be an option for those who do not want to fiddle with tweaks or installing WINE.

I am sure there are other sites such as Hulu, but I have not gone hunting for them yet. It could be a good idea to keep a list of sites that simply work, those that work with tweaks, and those that work with WINE. It might be a summer project for some of the videophiles. Anyone care to share what he or she has already uncovered?
