Help please

Having decided to download Linux Mint 5 Elyssa i choose a mirror and should i click on 3.1/ which is under Parent Directory?I would rather download the main version and not the light version.

hi

suggest you look on the linux main site and downlload it, or go to distrowatch and navigate to the site, that way you will get a good download and what you want

You can only download from mirrors on the Linux Mint main site Clint, unless you go torrent.
You want to click on "5/" and then "LinuxMint-5-r1.iso".
If 5/ isn't there try a different mirror.

Downloading Linux Mint using a "BitTorrent" address is definitely the way to go. Your download time will be less than if you downloaded from a regular website beginning with http or ftp.

Not necessarily. I quite often get speeds of 300-1000 kb/s on FTP downloads. I usually try everything and go with what seems to be the fastest.
