Lets say I have 2 desktops going.. one with browser, text editor, yada.. and another with Gimp and some other graphic tools ot whatever. Is there a way to have just the items on that desktop in the task bar? Like I change to desktop1 and all there is at the bottom is the browser, text editor and then change to desktop2 and all there is would be Gimp and those tools?
Right now, I change desktops and the kitchen sink is down there.. would be nice to have just the associated applications.

fwiw.. Mint 15 KDE

Re: Task Bar/Multiple Desktops Question
I use icon only task manager, and if you open icon only task manager settings, under behavior > filter. you can find show only task from current desktop.
